In this webinar Eia Asen presents an innovative’ approach to working with parents post-separation and whose ongoing conflicts impact on their children’s mental health. The different steps of assessing and treating these families are systemically delineated and richly illustrated with case examples. Specific techniques, drawn from systemic and mentalization-based approaches, focus above all on children’s welfare and aim to de-triangulate them from the inter-parental fights.

Eia Asen, is a  a systemic psychotherapist and a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist. He has worked for more than 50 years in public services in London and holds the position of a Visiting Professor at University College London.
