Ray Ison

Is Professor of Systems, at the United Kingdom’s Open University (OU), where he combines teaching with research and scholarship. He has a background in agricultural science and systems agriculture before moving on to concerns with systemic governance.  He has led and published research set in Europe, UK, China, South Africa, Australia, Brasil and Indonesia based on >50 funded awards. President of the International Federation of Systems Research since 2018, he has led expansion and activation of the membership comprising 44 organisations from all continents.
