Online Research Cafes

“EFTA Research Online Café” – what is THAT?!

The idea of the 1h30 “EFTA Research Online Café” format is, that one systemic research expert presents some research results, ideas, topics and discuss this with the participants. The “EFTA Research Online Café” is not a place for boring statistics, for manorial statements out of the ivory tower of academia or for scientific fake news. The “EFTA Research Online Café” is a place for sharing ideas, questions and stimulations regarding different kinds of research in the broad field of systemic work, and to foster the exchange between practitioners and researchers – and practitioner researchers.

The forthcoming “EFTA Research Online Café” will take place on:

  • 6 March 2025
  • 15 May 2025: Matej Vajda (Slovenia) and Günter Schiepek (Austria): Use of the Synergetic Navigation System in supervision and training
  • 24 July 2025: Andreas Vossler (UK): Why research matters for systemic psychotherapy practice
  • 25 September 2025
  • 27 november 2025: Angela Abela (Malta): A systemic understanding of family members living in blended families who are “doing well”: a qualitative study
